2 Recommended End To End Encrypted Messengers

DINO:

This one has been nice to have on the Pinephone. I’ve enjoyed the end to multi end encryption (private chatrooms + private messages) and recommend this if you enjoy XMPP.

Search Dino/XMPP chatrooms here: https://search.jabber.network/

While I display it on a Pinephone, Dino is available to any Linux distribution/desktop.

Based off axolotl, which is in turn based off Signal Messenger’s protocol, OMEMO is tested and true. Read the audit here: https://conversations.im/omemo/audit.pdf

Dino handles great on the Pinephone. I highly recommend giving it a shot. Yet another option further increases privacy closer to anonymity.

MEET SESSION:

Worried about Metadata after my last video/writeup? We can solve this problem too with Session Messenger. Session aims to provide all the trust that has been built on Signal, while minimizing metadata concerns.

No phone number required.

Watch the Video to learn more about Session’s underlying onion routing network, it’s goal to minimize metadata, all while providing secure end to end encryption (based off Signal’s protocol).
